    ai17z-ops released this 2026-10-21 08:09:36 +00:00 | 45 commits to main since this release

Republished on AI17Z Code from the GitHub release of the same tag, with exactly its files. Every installable file
matches the SHA256SUMS.txt it was published with. Its own installers and updaters look for releases on GitHub,
which no longer serves them; to install AI17Z today, use the command on the
AI17Z Code front page. This release is kept because its macOS (Apple silicon
and Intel) and arm64 Ubuntu packages were built and tested on real machines of each kind, and every later package
for those machines is proved against them, file by file.

v1.0.0-beta.76 gives agents and AI17Z Studio's trading terminal what a
memecoin trader looks at first, and makes paper trades pay for the size they
    trade at.

Reading a market the way a trader does

Five new read-only capabilities, offered to agents that are allowed to look
things up and to the shared runtime Studio uses:

    • market.search finds every token a name, symbol or address could mean,
each with its chain and exact address, deepest pool first, and says when
several share a symbol. It never chooses one.
    • market.pair_detail reads one exact pair: price, liquidity, market cap,
FDV, buys, sells, volume and price change over five minutes, an hour, six
hours and a day, when it was created, and the token's own links. Only http
      and https links survive.
    • market.recent_trades reads the latest swaps through one exact pool.
    • token.solana_profile reads what Jupiter's token index knows about one
Solana mint: holders and how concentrated they are, how much the developer
holds and how many tokens they launched, mint and freeze authority, the
token program, organic activity and verification.
    • market.discover_solana lists new, trending, most traded and most
organically active Solana tokens with the same facts.

A number a source did not report is reported as missing, never as zero.
Jupiter is read without a key, at well under its published keyless limit; a
JUPITER_API_KEY raises the ceiling when one is set.

Paper trades pay for their size

A paper fill used to happen at the mid price, as though every pool were
infinitely deep. Against a pool that reports its depth it now receives what a
trade of that size would, modelled as constant product on the reported depth,
which overstates the cost on a concentrated pool rather than flattering the
fill. The fill records the impact and how it was worked out, and a trade that
would move the price further than it allows is refused. Bonding curves and
brokers are not modelled this way, and say so.

    Memecoin pools can be priced

GeckoTerminal reports no fee for pump.fun or PumpSwap pools, so the pool
reader, which will not quote a pool that does not say what it charges, could
price almost no new Solana token. Those two now use the ceiling of pump.fun's
published fee schedule (1.25%, as of 2026-10-08), named in the snapshot's
source. Every other pool with no stated fee is still not quoted.

    Upgrading

    Nothing to do. No migration.

    Windows, in detail

Open Windows Terminal and paste this:

    irm https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ShiftAboveCtrl/ai17z/main/install.ps1 | iex

That is the whole installation. It checks this PC, installs anything
missing through Microsoft's own package manager, installs AI17Z, starts it,
and checks it works before it says so.

Install AI17Z only with the command published in this repository.
    Nowhere else distributes it.

    What changed since v1.0.0-beta.75

    • Release notes, and this is 1.0.0-beta.76
    • Market intelligence for traders, and paper fills that pay for their size

Why a command and not a download

AI17Z is not a signed application. Code signing for open-source projects is
granted on the strength of an existing user base, and AI17Z does not have one
yet -- so an AI17Z .exe would be an unsigned executable Windows has never
seen, and Windows would say so, loudly, and be right to.

The answer is not to talk anybody past that warning. It is to not ask for it:
nothing in the command above is an executable, nothing is double-clicked, and
no Windows security setting is touched, turned off, or argued with -- not
SmartScreen, not Defender, not your execution policy.

    See Windows trust and SmartScreen.

    What AI17Z is

A local-first platform for running autonomous agents on X. An agent is an
identity, a memory, a model, a policy, and the channels it may act on. Everything
runs on your machine: your data, your credentials, your browser session.

    What it needs, on Windows

WSL 2, Docker Desktop, Node.js 22 or newer and Google Chrome.

(The macOS and Ubuntu packages carry their own Node and need none installed.)

AI17Z Setup checks for all four and installs the ones that are missing:
WSL through Microsoft's own wsl --install, and the rest through winget,
Microsoft's package manager. It never downloads an executable from a URL
    of its own.
Anything already present and new enough is left alone.

It waits for Docker's engine to answer rather than finishing the moment
Docker is installed, which is the "restart your PC and run the installer
again" step it exists to remove.

    What actually runs

install.ps1 is short, public, and the file at the URL you just pasted. All it
does is resolve this release, download the setup program below, check its
SHA-256 against the hash published here
, write it somewhere you can read it,
and run the bytes it checked. A mismatch stops everything.

    The setup program itself is
    packaging/windows/Setup-AI17Z.ps1
-- the whole installer, as a script, published here as Install-AI17Z-1.0.0-beta.76.ps1.

    How to audit it
-- every privileged action, every download, everything it writes.

    Installing

Per-user. No administrator rights for AI17Z itself; one Windows prompt for
WSL 2 and Docker Desktop, explained on screen before it appears.

    program %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\AI17Z
    your data %LOCALAPPDATA%\AI17Z

Your data is kept apart from the program on purpose: updating replaces the
program and never touches your data.

    More than one AI17Z

A machine can hold several independent installations -- different agents,
different databases, different signed-in accounts -- and they share nothing.
Updating one leaves the others exactly as they are.

    $s = irm https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ShiftAboveCtrl/ai17z/main/install.ps1
    & ([scriptblock]::Create($s)) -List                 # what is installed
    & ([scriptblock]::Create($s)) -NewInstance          # install another
    & ([scriptblock]::Create($s)) -Instance AI17Z-test  # update that one

    Updates

AI17Z checks GitHub for new versions and shows the release notes on the
Version panel in Settings, which names the installation it belongs to. It
    never updates itself.
You can skip a version, ignore it, or turn the check
off, in which case no request is made at all.

    The files here

install.ps1 the command above, as a file, if you would rather pin or read it
Install-AI17Z-1.0.0-beta.76.ps1 the setup program: the whole installer, as a script
AI17Z-App-1.0.0-beta.76.zip the application, which the setup program hash-checks
AI17Z-Setup-1.0.0-beta.76.exe the older full installer. Unsigned, and not the recommended route -- it is what installations made before this one update with
AI17Z-Setup-Audit-1.0.0-beta.76.json what the setup program declares it may do
SHA256SUMS.txt hashes for all of the above

    Verify what you ran

The checked setup program is written into %LOCALAPPDATA%\AI17Z-setup before
it runs. It is kept there whenever anything goes wrong, and removed after a
clean run because it is a copy of a file published here -- pass -KeepDownload
to keep it either way, and hash it against the line for
    Install-AI17Z-1.0.0-beta.76.ps1 below:

    & ([scriptblock]::Create((irm https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ShiftAboveCtrl/ai17z/main/install.ps1))) -KeepDownload
